RICHARD SMITH / "In Concert" @ Rowan Public Library
Tuesday, January 14
Richard Smith & wife JULIE ADAMS performed
last night at Rowan Public Library to a full packed house of almost 100
concert-goers. Richard and Julie performed two sets, consisting of
over 20 songs of all styles and genres.
I was also privileged to get to hear Richard back in October 2013, and to help bring him to Salisbury.
The crowd was amazed and
mesmerized by Richard's amazing hand & finger dexterity, as
he played numerous guitar solos with a mix of blinding speed and artful
creativity, exercising total control over the fretboard.
Julie also
gave us a wonderful performance, accompanying Richard's guitar on the
cello and vocals. The couple received applause and laughter throughout
their performance, which concluded with "Happy Trails" and a standing
ovation from the audience.
